This sampler of wheat berries was a great way for us to try out various flavors and textures, then decide on our favorites for future orders. The wheat berries are so versatile. I made Chimichurri mixed with the wheat berries and spooned over sautéed zucchini slices, Kale Pesto mixed with wheat berries and served over asparagus, Sweet Potatoes and wheat berries as a salad with a Lemon Curry Dressing, Mexican Salad with wheat berries, tomatoes, peppers, greens, and a dressing of lime juice and salsa verde, and Fruit and Nut Salad with wheat berries and a Balsamic Dressing. Soups are another way to serve wheat berries, such as in Tuscan Farro and Bean Soup. The creativity goes on and on with wheat berries as a star ingredient!
