    Janie's Mill Organic Semolina has a rich golden color, and sweet, nutty flavors. We separate our mill stones slightly when we grind Semolina to ensure that we create the uniform medium-fine granules that form a pliable dough with the authentic texture needed to hold pasta sauces.  Semolina also makes great pizza, pita, and other breads when mixed with Janie's Mill bread flours.

    Each stone-milled granule of Semolina is full of whole grain goodness from the Organic Durum Wheat we use for our Semolina Flour. Durum is an ancient grain that is closely related to Emmer, and very high in protein.

Fantastic for pasta!

When you're a food allergy family, you make a LOT of food from scratch. Sourcing safe ingredients can be a challenge, but thank goodness for Janie's Mill! My family was able to enjoy tortellini made with this semolina flour and it was such a hit! Plus, I get superhero bonus points from my kids, who had no idea their mom could *make* pasta!

The vegan pasta I made with this semolina flour was easy to work with and the texture and flavor were exceptional.

I've purchased a few varieties of semolina flour to use for an absolute favorite Semolina Country Bread loaf from the book "Bread Machine Cookbook" by Beth Hensperger. This flour never fails, perfect loaf, perfect crumb! I finally bit the bullet and bought a couple of 3# bags since I continue to run out as I make loaves for family members.
