This flour is great especially having the whole kernel milled so there is more fiber within the bread itself. The Artisan Bread I made was beautiful and delicious-a nice crunch on the outside and so tender inside!
Using this flour I did add more water than the recipe called for and that’s probably the only difference I noticed vs using the other High Protein flour!! Both flours make excellent breads!
You can tell a lot about a flour when you use it for a sourdough starter. The vitality of this flour is incredible! I can't wait to make my first loaves of sourdough bread with the organic whole kernel flour!
Tried this flour with the basic sourdough recipe on Janie’s Mill’s website. First loaf with cinnamon/brown sugar turned out great! I finally convinced my kid to eat whole grain after several previous failed attempts. Thank you, Janie’s Mill!!
