    Bloody Butcher makes a fabulous cornbread, of course, but you can also use it in corn muffins, cookies, cakes, crackers, and more! Or use it for a cornbread stuffing!

    As with all of our products, you get the nutrition of the whole kernel. To preserve all of that goodness, especially the essential oils in the germ, it’s best to keep your cornmeal cool until you’re ready to use it.

    When we stone-mill this non-GMO heirloom corn, it releases fresh, sweet, nutty aromas, which translate into delightful flavors when you eat it! The flecks of the burgundy seed coats against the ivory interior of the kernels is reminiscent of a spattered butcher's apron, which is how this variety got its name.

The best mush ever!

In my family we eat cornmeal mush as a remembrance of old times long ago. My family used to mix brown roasted and yellow cornmeal. Our family enjoyed it with King table sryup. Now I gaudy use the Bloody Bucher cornmeal. We really enjoy it now.

I like cornbread again!

Being from the south, I was raised on cornbread. My husband is a big fan of jalapeno cornbread and loved the "box cornbread mix". I got tired of the taste of the boxed cornbread and quit eating cornbread. Then we used the Bloody Butcher Cornmeal. I have to say, I now will eat cornbread again! Using BB Cornmeal gives the cornbread much more flavor.

Great Corn Flavor!

Bloody Butcher corn meal makes great corn muffins --the flavor, texture and reddish color gives a wholesome flavor. The rise is not as high but the flavor is great. This bag was a reorder.

Superior Cornbread

My family loves cornmeal muffins any time of year, and cornbread appears often on the fall/winter table when soups are particularly welcome.
