Janie's rye flour in Nicaragua

We've been living in Nicaragua for 10 years, my wife is Russian and I lived there for 10 years, where I ate rye bread every day, especially Borodynskye ('black') bread. I missed it so much, it's impossible to find rye flour here in Nicaragua, so we're very much looking forward to being able to make rye bread again. Will post a review when it arrives (it takes 3 weeks by sea, but it's worth the wait). Get back to you soon....

I've used the dark rye several times to make bread in my old bread machine and it's great. One of these days I take the time to make bread without the machine, but right now, it's convenient.

I used to dark rice flour in my sourdough starter, and it helps the gluten development so much my starter thrives with this flour and so does my bread. it adds a flavor to my bread that’s truly unbeatable.
