Durum is an ancient wheat that is a close relative of Emmer. It is the “hardest” of the hard red spring wheats, and has a very high protein level (17.8%) and great flavor, whether you mill it into flour, or use our organic whole berries in grain bowls or breakfast bowls.

The quality of the durum berries is excellent.
I got the durum to make fresh pasta and it did not disappoint. Much better flavor and all the nutrition goodness. The downside, when we go out and I order pasta...I think to myself... I could do better
New customer so this is my first time trying the durum grain. Taste was very good. My only complaint is that my bag had a lot of husk in it. But will still buy again :)
Mill them yourself and if you have a pasta extruder you'll have great pasta. Also great in the pressure cooker for a cous cous substitute.
