I have used Spelt in just about everything at this point! Muffins, sourdough, scones, and the most popular according to my family is my chocolate chip cookies with spelt. There have been several times that I was low on a certain flour and just added spelt because I had it. I have never been disappointed with the texture or flavor that comes with adding it to my bakes. The added nutritive value is always a plus in my book!
My husband and I love ordering from here, but we're super conscious of food waste and we don't want a whole sack of it to go bad if we don't use it quickly enough. So, we end up making small orders and paying as much for shipping as the product. But, even though that's unfortunate, it's undeniably good!
If you like bread then get some Spell flour and mix some Emmer flour in it and you will never buy bread again.

Love this spelt flour for flavorful southern-style biscuits. The low gluten is perfect for biscuits. I eat them with a little (real) maple syrup because gravy masks the rich spelt flavor. Also good for sourdough pancakes. Those are great with butter and honey.
